be made understandable and tangible?With the Google AI Playbook, we demonstrate how even complex topics and technologies can become
a gamified and inspiring experience. The designed Playbook is a phygital learning format that combines analog materials with digital content elements, while providing a straightforward and accessible introduction to the world of artificial intelligence. The Google AI Playbook guides users through the fundamentals of AI development, explains key technical terms, and illustrates with real-life examples how AI is already transforming our daily lives. The focus is on Gemini, Google's most powerful AI model, whose potential we have presented in a comprehensible and practical manner.This approach has earned us two awards: Winner of the German Brand Award 2026 in the category Brand Communication: Storytelling and Content Marketing, and Winner of the German Design Award 2026 in the category Excellent Communications Design: AI in Communications Design. The jury of the German Design Award especially praised the stylish design, the authentic integration of analog and digital content, and the ability to “present AI in an everyday context” –in short: to make AI tangible.
